Duval county Democrats gathered at the Landing downtown are still waiting for news from the polls. They did give a loud cheer a few minutes ago when early Florida results showed Sen. Obama with a lead.

We’re at the Jacksonville Landing, where the Duval Democratic Party is preparing to watch the vote results come in. One party will be at the club “Mavericks” and a second, for the Young Democrats of Duval, is set for “Twisted Martini” downstairs. They’re expecting big crowds at both.

It’s 11:15 and Sen. Obama has just arrivedarrived.

It’s 9:45 am, and the crowd waiting for Barack Obama is now at about 4,000 people at the arena. Lot’s of music and they’re even doing the wave. The program should start is about 30 to 45 minutes.
