Officials were right, the crush of people disappeared after 9a. There is no line here at our lady star of the sea church in ponte vedra… We’ll see if that changes around lunchtime

I live in Flagler Estates, near Hastings, south west St Johns county. I went to vote prepared for lines and there wasn’t one. I hope people aren’t staying in because they don’t want to stand in lines. Get out and vote please! So many voted early it’s not that bad. My Dad lives in Missouri and he got right in and out. He’s at Bob Evans having breakfast right now. So please don’t let the lines scare you off, it’s not bad.

Election 2008

Expecting the highest voter turnout in decades -- perhaps 80 percent -- there will likely be confusion or frustration for first-time voters and those who haven’t voted recently, lines at the polls on Election Day and a late night as the returns come in.
