The numbers are in at the precinct here at the “Old Lady of the Sea” Catholic Church and of the 772 ballots cast 559 voted for Mccain and 156 for Obama.
Im only 13 and I want the election to be over becuase I hate arguing with my friends whos going to win and why they shouldnt win. Becuase I cant vote and neither can they so why bother arguing whos going to win the election. I mean I care but why bother when you cant vote.
Well I am sitting here watching your News station as I do everyday. Me & my 18 year old son have only one question for all of you on his very first election day, Why are all of you always talking about Obama election and cannot say 10 words without promoting his campaign, and hardly anything about McCain? There’s also a Republican running for president even though none of you sound so enthused about reporting anything about McCain.
Just take your time, and all of your reporting minutes for Obama and hurry through your report on McCain campaign.
Expecting the highest voter turnout in decades -- perhaps 80 percent -- there will likely be confusion or frustration for first-time voters and those who haven’t voted recently, lines at the polls on Election Day and a late night as the returns come in. Channel 4’s reporters, news staffers and contributors are spanned out across northeast Florida, posting early and often about developments in the races, at the polls and behind the scenes.
